The Magazine Herpetomania The name of the publication of the society is Herpetomania. The magazine is published six times a year. It is the only herpetological magazine in Finland. Herpetomania aims at improving the conditions of terrarium animals by giving the readers reliable information on keeping and breeding reptiles and amphibians. It also tries to decrease the market on wild-caught and endangered species, and to connect nature conservation, animal protection and scientific herpetology. The articles are in Finnish, but there is an abstract after each article in English.
